MYSELF AS A LEADER

My leadership style is personal and relational. I grew up in a family of seven. Teamwork was not an option, it was a necessity! I believe my greatest leadership asset is that I am socially resourceful. I can communicate effectively and am comfortable one-on-one or with a large group. I truly believe that learning from the experiences of others is an incredibly valuable resource. Learning about others is also a valuable tool. Exhibiting sincere interest in people empowers a leader with knowledge, perspective, and insights they may not have considered. In addition, others are likely to increase their receptiveness to anything you have to say or hope to accomplish when they sense your genuine interest in their point of view.
 I am competitive with myself. I constantly strive to learn more, accomplish more, and set new goals. I am positive, out-going, and hard working. In a team capacity, I am always compelled to ensure that my contribution is authentic and meaningful to the team’s goal(s). In addition, I try to exalt those around me by acknowledging and valuing their accomplishments. I believe the most effective teams view success as a shared experience. I expect from others no more than what I expect from myself.

 However, one of my weaknesses is that I often take too much on at one time. This has the potential for stressing out those around me because I unwittingly set unrealistic expectations of others and I may not get things done myself until the eleventh hour.Another weakness I possess is that I am not as decisive as I would like to be. I live in the gray area and like to make very informed decisions with input from everyone. While this can provide effective consensus building, I appreciate the fact that it slows the decision making process. 

In conclusion, I would say that vision and influence on other people are the major keys to being a successful leader, but courage will always make you a fighter without a cause. Not forgetting that Criticism may not be agreeable, but it is necessary. It fulfills the same function as pain in the human body.

Grade: To judge the quality of a student’s work by giving it a letters or number.

Dorm: A university building containing living quarters for students.

Major: A student’s main subject at college or university.

Report: A written or a spoken accounts that gives information about a particular subjects.

Interns: an advance student or graduate is supervised in a practical experience.

Volunteers: Someone who offers to do something without being forced

Senior: With a rank or position that is higher than someone else.

Test: To find out how much someone knows, or how well they can do something by giving 
them a set of question to answer or an activity to perform.

Learner: Someone who learns or takes up knowledge or belief.

Scholar: Someone who studies a particular subject and knows a lot of information about it.

Undergraduates: A student who is studying for a first degree at a college or university.

Faculty: A department or group of department in a university.

Trainee: Someone who is being trained for a particular profession or job.

Student: A learner who is enrolled in an education institution.

Curriculum: The subject that student at a particular school or college.

Participant: Someone who takes part in something.

Coach: A teacher who prepares pupils for examination.

Professor: An Instructor that teaches the student on a specific course.

Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition

Juxtaposition is placing two elements or words side by side and letting the reader or viewer compare them. This act compares and contrasts the two elements and can show irony, humor or sadness.

First juxtaposition

Juxtaposing  the leader and followers:

In these two picture it refer to a good leader and bad leader and how leader can leading its followers through his actions.
Most people are actually somewhere between being a good leader and a bad leader, with the majority uncertain of the connection between their leadership and performance. A deeper knowledge of what good (or great) leadership is will then enable you to break-through and affect change in the performance of your team  like never before.

The “Relational” Leader needs to give special attention to developing Clarifying Focus. They love being with followers, but often do not know where or how they should lead those followers.

The leader can accomplish this  by applying his or her skills and knowledge toward the process.

The leader provides the followers with clarity of desired objective while keeping the followers in cohesive group.

The leader must understand his /herself and what talents he/she can put toward achieving a goal and must gain trust of followers and keep followers inspired.

Second juxtaposition

Gender Leadership Styles(Man and woman  leader):
This picture refer to the man and woman leader and how both of them can lead  the followers.

A woman leader is more assertive and persuasive, have a stronger need to get things done and is more willing to take risks,women leaders also were found to be more empathetic and flexible, as well as stronger in interpersonal skills than their male counterparts. “These qualities combine to create a leadership style that is inclusive, open, consensus building


Third juxtaposition


A decent leader has a model character. It is of most extreme significance that a leader is dependable to lead others. A leader should be trusted and be known not their existence with sincerely and honesty. A decent leader "strolls the discussion" and in doing as such wins the privilege to have obligation regarding others. Genuine power is conceived from appreciation for the great character and dependability of the individual who leads.
